LinkedIn now new tools has more than 706 million users in 200 countries! of which more than 13 million are in Spain . It is the only Western social network authorized to operate in China! where it has more than 51 million members (although this figure is negligible compared to China’s total population). More than 50 million companies have pages on this social network ! and 55 job applications are registered every second.
And yet! their changes often go a little unnoticed .
I already new tools warned you in February 2019: “ LinkedIn is getting a makeover! and you don’t even realize it .”
I’m afraid I have to insist on this again today.
It’s true that social media has entered a kind of “I copy! you copy! he copies” spiral from whatsapp number list which no platform is immune! and LinkedIn is no exception. But it’s also true that LinkedIn continues to forge its own path : there’s a reason it’s the largest professional social network and one of the few (if not the only) that doesn’t rely solely on advertising (remember its Premium subscriptions and Talent Solutions! which I told you about a few years ago in my november 10th elections: how much and how have the political parties invested in facebook advertising? free ebooks ” LinkedIn for Professionals ” and ” LinkedIn for Business “).
In 2020! and especially in recent months! LinkedIn has launched new tools canada email lead for user profiles and company pages ! revamping its suite of services… and which are worth keeping in mind. NOTE: it has also reversed its efforts on others! such as SlideShare! which it sold to Scribd .
Let’s go!
LinkedIn profile updates in 2020
1. LinkedIn’s new newsletters
Have you heard of them?
They say newsletters are more popular than ever ! as a way to stay up-to-date on current events! trends! and news from the sources and topics of your choice! without falling into the trap of algorithms and their screening. We’re witnessing a “resurgence” of newsletters! which we hope won’t lead to an inbox crash.
LinkedIn seems to have jumped on the bandwagon and has launched a tool that allows any LinkedIn member to create newsletters through their personal profile for other users to subscribe to. Just click the “Subscribe” button. And it’s all free.
What are the advantages of LinkedIn newsletters?
The main one is that subscribers receive a notification via mobile app or email every time you launch a newsletter : no more depending on the algorithm’s visibility for your posts. With the newsletter! all subscribers will be aware of what you write on LinkedIn so they can read! comment on! and share it.
Plus! every time they open a newsletter! they can also review! if they wish! what content you prepared in previous newsletters : previous articles “don’t die.”
How are they created?
Simply go to your homepage! select “Write an article” from the menu! and then new tools click “Create newsletter .” You’ll be asked to choose a headline! description! publication frequency (daily! weekly! biweekly! or monthly)! and upload an image.
