What’s new on LinkedIn for Pages in 2020

When you activate it! you can specify what type of position you are looking for! the location and the type of contract .

Also (and this is important) you have the option to choose whether you want any LinkedIn member to be able to see your green frame! or only recruiters. LinkedIn says that to ensure confidentiality ! they make an effort to not show your company’s HR managers that you’re looking for a job… but they warn that they can’t guarantee it. And be careful! because if your company finds out you’re trying to leave! it could be a problem.

4. Live video is coming (but not for everyone)

And video has always been a pending issue for LinkedIn .

The LinkedIn Live platform is in beta and is only accessible to members and Pages that special lead meet specific requirements. The social network warns that it will only grant access to content creators who already have a significant audience and experience creating professional! high-quality videos.

Broadcasts are done through third-party broadcasting tools ! such as Socialive! Wirecast! tiktok: parents’ guide Brandlive! or Easy Live. We’ll see how this turns out! but this sounds to me like when Twitter bought Periscope and then integrated it into its platform.

You can request access to LinkedIn Live using this official LinkedIn form . Be careful! though: LinkedIn warns that requesting access doesn’t mean you’ll be granted access.

It’s still a long way from being fully implemented! but LinkedIn just announced! on September 2! several new features for Company Pages that will soon be rolling out in all countries. They are as follows:

1. “My Company” tab
According to LinkedIn! this tab is poised to become the common space between employees and the company ! strengthening communication and internal culture at a time when many employees are teleworking and therefore most needed. This tab will display the most shared content and connection recommendations from employees! and will also be used to celebrate promotions and anniversaries.

I admit that I still need to see how this is implemented on a page ! and how it differs from the “Company Life” tab that already exists within Talent Solutions.

2. “Events” tab
Here! companies can share online events and webinars so LinkedIn canada email lead members can sign up and attend virtually! or share them.

I’ll give you the “Events” tab on the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions page as an example.

3. More data about the page’s followers

LinkedIn has improved the information it provides about followers. It now on LinkedIn  displays who your followers are and when they joined! with a link to their profile.

And you! did you know about these new features?

Previously! it only provided aggregated statistical information! but it was impossible to know who was behind each number (unlike other social networks! where Page and corporate profile administrators have access to their community’s profiles). Here! LinkedIn is slowly improving.
